United students in grades 7-12 can join us as we go to Chestnut Mountain Resort in Galena, IL for a weekend getaway to not only ski/snowboard, but also hear from the Lord through intentional messages. We will leave the Ottawa campus on Saturday, February 15th after service (5pm-6pm) and return Monday, February 17th (President's Day) in the late afternoon, before dinner. The trip costs $280, which includes the transportation to and from Galena, light snacks for the ride to Galena and at the hotel, ski/board rentals, lift tickets, and lodging for two nights at the Stoney Creek Inn in Galena. All students will be given rooming assignments and will be staying with up to 3 other students of the same gender. For meals, breakfast is included with the hotel stay each morning and pizza will be provided for dinner on Sunday night in the hotel. Students will be responsible for their own meals for the remainder of the trip. Chestnut Mountain Resort has a cafeteria with many food options which will be available for the students to purchase for lunch both Sunday and Monday.
