we're in this together

Pastor Kevin Donoho has accepted the call to become the new lead pastor at College Church of the Nazarene in Olathe, Kansas. Practically, this means that his last day at Crossbridge will be Sunday, June 13. We are so grateful for Pastor Kevin’s leadership at Crossbridge these past 8.5 years. Kevin and Rachel have been a vital part of the ministry of Crossbridge and have touched many lives. We trust that as God has called them to College Church, that He will equip them with everything they need. We send them with tears - sad for our loss. But we also send them with joy - knowing that they are practicing what they preach - following God wherever He leads.

what's next?

The Church Board met with our District Superintendent and appointed the following people to serve on the search committee for our next lead pastor: Nate Senica, Pat Berry, Steve Taylor, Russ Schrag, Sherry Stevenson, Mark Buehl, Deb Nelson and Natalie Hulstrom. These individuals represent our Church Board, Mission Strategy Team, Finance Team, staff, and Peru Campus. The first meeting with our District Superintendent and Search Committee Team to begin the process will take place in mid-June.

let's pray

Please set your alarm for 2:07p each day and join us in prayer for our next Lead Pastor.
Psalm 20:7b says, “We trust in the name of the Lord our God”.  We are trusting God to give us discernment and wisdom as we begin to pray for exactly the right person to be called to Crossbridge.

During this time we would invite you to be praying for specific things.

Prayer for Kevin, Rachel, and their family. Pray for the details of their move. Pray for friendships. And pray for the work at College Church that is ahead of them.

Pray for our interim preaching team as they bring God's word to us during this transition time.

Pray for our next lead pastor. Pray that they would hear God speaking to them clearly during this process. Pray that God would begin to prepare their heart to become our next lead pastor.

Pray for our Search Team as they begin the process.

Pray for Crossbridge to stay focused on the mission during this time.
