Giving

In Matthew 6:21, Jesus says, “For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” He shows us that when we give, we are directing our heart. A lifestyle of giving exemplifies where our priorities lie, and Jesus wants you to be completely invested in His Kingdom. When we choose to give back a portion of what He has given us, it opens the door for Him to bless our lives.

Your choice to give is not simply giving to the church but investing in the Kingdom of God through this local ministry. Crossbridge partners with our local community to impact the lives of people right here where we live. We also support the Kingdom around the world through investing in our World Evangelism Fund and other mission organizations. We see the concept of tithing in scripture.  The word “tithe” means ten percent. This is the portion of our income that we give to God to show our gratitude for the ways that He has blessed us. Tithing is an act of obedience that displays our trust in God for His provision. We understand that tithing may be a huge leap for some people. If ten percent seems overwhelming, we encourage you to begin a life of faithful financial stewardship by starting somewhere. Choose a percentage that you can start with and work your way toward a lifestyle of tithing. We know that we cannot out-give God and believe that He will bless us in ways that we can’t imagine when we choose to be faithful to Him.
