"God brought us to Crossbridge to serve. It was an answer to His leading in our hearts and brought me back to what I believe is the center of God's will."
Crossbridge wouldn't function without all of our amazing volunteers! There are several opportunities available, depending on where God is leading you.
Nursery volunteers on the nursery team must be 16 years old and up. Once a month, you will spend a service holding, rocking and playing with babies up to 2 years of age. This ministry gives our youngest children a positive experience of a church family that loves on them, and at the same time allows our parents of young kids to fully engage in the worship service.
Preschool volunteers serve with young ones from 2 - 5 year olds. These classes use music, video, props, story cards and early learning bibles to introduce kids to the bible. Each class requires two adults and specifically needs more helpers on Saturday night and at the 10:45a service.
Kid's Experience (K-4th) is a large group / small group program that brings kids together for music and a large group bible story. Kids then split into age-appropriate small groups to engage in an activity that helps them apply the truth from the bible story to their own life experience.
Preteens are a special group of kids in a very quick transition from childhood to adolescence. Identity is a major developmental crisis and we strive to point them to a god that loves them, and desires for even preteens to follow him in their very own relationship with God.
*All adult volunteers in all age group ministries require a criminal background check.

Crossbridge United creates a safe environment for students 7th - 12th grade to have fun by playing games together, laughing together, connecting with one another, and learning more about Jesus together. Ways to volunteer for United include greeting, playing games with students, leading small group conversations, working the concessions stand, and setting up / cleaning up rooms.

First impressions are very important. Our goal is to by make people feel comfortable so they can encounter Jesus. We open doors, distribute bulletins, greet our guests with a friendly hello, and tell them goodbye when the service is over. People who serve in the Crossbridge Welcome Team serve one service per month.
