Jon Hauser is a dynamic, visionary leader with a deep commitment to the local church. Jon grew up in North Dakota, graduated from North Dakota State University and Nazarene Theological Seminary. In 2000, he and his wife quit their jobs and jumped out in obedient faith, moving to Fargo, ND, to start a new church for people who don’t like going to church. With no experience, but great passion, he followed God’s dream of connecting 1,000s of people apart from God with Christ and a church family. Starting with 3 people, Prairie Heights Community Church of the Nazarene grew to a vibrant church family of over 5,000 Prairie Heighters… in a community highly resistant to new churches. Jon and his wife, Teri, have been blessed with two children: Nathanael, age 23, and Brooke, age 11.

Prior to this he served as the lead pastor of CrossRoads Nazarene church in the Phoenix area for 18 years. During that time the church more than quadrupled in size and participated in planting 9 churches both at home and abroad. Mark has been happily married to Susan since 1976.
